He’s since managed to find us a lower rate and kept us up to date along the whole process!! In a time that’s already stressful he made everything plain & simple!! The team at NxtGen Mortgages are great! I have used Sam & his team for all of my mortgages and related queries for over 5 years now and have had consistently fantastic service - they are responsive, professional, friendly, helpful, will take time to explain things and will do all they can do to help, even being polite if I ask the same question over and over so that I properly understand! Everyone in the team I have dealt with have provided similarly great service (which I don't think you can say about many businesses these days so is a big credit to the team there) and I'm very appreciative of all the advice and help they've given over the years. Sam is a genuinely fantastic mortgage advisor, the best around. He understands the market and always goes the extra mile for his clients. Sam has worked late to ensure we got the best deal ahead of rate rises which were coming the following day. One time when we met, I saw him spend a great deal of time having a back and forth with a bank over chat to ensure his client secured a deal that the bank didn't want to honour, rather than give up he was persistent in ensuring his client was looked after, this level of service is hard to find, Sam really cares.
I've had several issues with buying, and had to pull out a few times, despite this Sam has still worked hard to get me a new deal. I would also like to shout out to Ruby, she is a fantastic insurance and protection advisor and has a wealth of knowledge about insurance. We had issues due to medical history, but Ruby worked very hard to find us the insurance we needed, and whilst we couldn't go through with this house, I have no doubts we will be able to pick up where we left off and her knowledge and experience will be incredibly valuable.

I can’t recommend Just Mortgages highly enough—especially my adviser, Sam Hyslop. From start to finish, Sam was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly and keep me updated at every stage. They made the whole process feel genuinely stress-free, handling the paperwork and chasing updates so I didn’t have to. We used Sam to sort out our mortgage and protection policies back in August 2024, and recently needed to update our protection due to some personal changes. I got back in touch with Sam and he and the team reviewed our current policies, talked through what had changed, and then found us a better deal. As we originally took the policies out with them, they did all of this free of charge, which was really appreciated.
I spoke to both Sam and Jeremy, and they were incredibly friendly, professional and kind throughout – especially as you have to share quite sensitive personal information during the process. They made everything feel easy and comfortable.
