SAM HYSLOP
Hi, I’m Sam!
Qualifying as a mortgage broker in 2013, I started off employed with Just Mortgages. After picking up numerous awards as a top adviser over a five-year period, I took the leap and started providing mortgage and protection advice under my own trade name in 2019.
We now boast a proactive and committed team offering 5-star service for all remortgage and purchase clients. I pride myself on always being available to help day and night throughout the whole house-buying process, and with the support of the team, we can offer advice seven days a week from the comforts of your home, online or in the office.
Outside the office, I live in Exeter with my wife and three children and enjoy travelling. I also play many sports and am always open to a game of football, squash or more recently padel.
ALI WALKER
Hi, I’m Ali!
Based in Exeter, Devon, I’m a Mortgage and Protection Adviser passionate about helping clients achieve their property goals. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, looking to move home remortgage or a seasoned property investor, I’m here to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
With over 10 years of experience in the property industry, including a background in architecture and property development, I bring a unique perspective to my advice.
I love working with local clients across Exeter and the surrounding areas, but I’m equally happy to support clients nationwide. When I’m not helping clients, you’ll often find me exploring the Devon countryside, refurbishing old properties, or enjoying rugby and motorbikes.
JOSH ABBOTT
Hi, I’m Josh!
Being in the world of Estate Agency since I was 18 has given me extensive industry knowledge, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a 5-star client service. After helping hundreds of clients find their homes, I switched to becoming a mortgage broker to help them buy instead, and I have never looked back!
I am proud to say that I will go the extra mile to assist my clients, making myself available day or night to achieve this and offer each and every client great service no matter their circumstances.
I love to stay active in my spare time, so you’ll often find me playing various sports, such as football and badminton, or attempting to play golf! I live in Dawlish, so I’m usually working in the Exeter office or visiting clients across Devon.
JEREMY BLAIR
Hi, I’m Jeremy!
One of the senior members of the NxtGen Team.
Having worked in and experienced the highs and lows of the finance industry from both sides, I pride myself on being available to clients at all times and points of the process. This ensures that any issues are dealt with swiftly and clients maintain a level of calm unparalleled within the industry.
I always try to adhere to my tagline, “I’d rather you stress me out than stress yourselves.”
This level of service and ethos is the basis for the office’s core values and allows us to maintain our consistent 5-star service for all clients. Outside the office, I live in Kingsteignton, Devon and enjoy sports and travel, having a partnership in a local club and regularly travelling back to my homeland NZ. This enables me to bring my NZ native calming attitude to assist with your transaction. I have two pet cats called Reggie Noble and Christopher Wallace.
RUBY MACIOCCU
Hi, I’m Ruby!
I started in the property industry at age 19 in an estate agency. I joined Sam’s team in 2022 and worked hard in organising the office and the administration behind the scenes.
In my day-to-day work, I communicate with clients, lenders and solicitors to ensure a smooth process for all parties. In addition to providing clients updates, organising the diary, and tracking their rates, I am their primary point of contact for any questions or queries throughout the transaction.
I pride myself in building a good rapport with clients so they feel comfortable to ask any questions they may have. I like to spend time with my friends and family, take up craft projects, and try to beat my colleagues at badminton. I’m also always caught up on the latest thrillers.
